ABOUT ME

 As an artist and musician, I take inspiration from music every day. In my headphones Bikini Kill sums up my attitude with their song, “Rebel Girl”: “That girl thinks she’s the queen of the neighborhood. I got news for you; SHE IS!”, the chorus blares (Bikini Kill). That’s me as an artist-rebel girl, queen of the neighborhood, the main character- I’m out loud, fearless and I make it known. I explore abandoned buildings, shoot decent pool, break bones in mosh pits, fall in love too fast and give no fucks. I collect paper, magazines and moments in my life to create work that has crazy energy and looks as loud as I am.  My work rejects traditional aspects of art and in return gives a window into my world of demons, imperfections, and adventures. All this comes together in a visual language for my punk rock community, inspired by the music and experiences that fuel it.
